*Health Information Services Team Leader

Responsible for preparing, logging abnormal lab results, maintaining inventory of forms and supplies.  Processes and logs release of medical information.  Assists in audits, supervises special projects and assists employees with backlogs.  May assist in various aspects of supervision, such as scheduling personnel, orientation and cross training coaching and counseling.  Qualifications include HS Diploma and experience in general office procedures.  Medical Information Specialist Certificate a big plus.  One to two years experience in medical setting and some supervisory experience preferred including knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.  Able to lift up to 25lbs, constant standing, walking and work in a confined space.

Medical Laboratory Technician (part-time)

Responsibilities include providing technical support in the laboratory department.  Performs, reviews and reports routine diagnostic laboratory procedures in all areas of the laboratory.  Maintains equipment and quality assurance record on a daily routine basis in collection and analysis of specimens.  Qualifications include an associate degree in MLT, two years experience as MLT preferred.  Current MLT registry preferred.  Clerical ability to accurately record, compare test results, and work with lab computers required.  Bilingual is a big plus.

*Social Services Supervisor

The ideal candidate must be highly motivated and dedicated to want to help the medically underserved patients of our community.  Responsible for planning, organizing and supervising the activities of the Social Services department in accordance with the Center’s policies and procedures, standard practice of the profession, state and federal laws.  This individual serves as a liaison and networks with other service providing agencies to develop additional resources to better serve clinic patients.  Oversees daily activities of the social work staff and the AmeriCorps program.  Other duties involve managing the Social Services Assistance fund, referral requests by the Center’s physicians and requests for case management.  Responsible for taking patient concerns and helping to resolve them. Qualifications include Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.  LBSW licensure preferred with a minimum of three+ years of social work experience in a non-profit organization and progressive responsibility in management and supervisory.  Great organizational and communication skills.  Bilingual.

*Front Desk Clerk

Responsible for greeting patients, making appointments, taking payments, and screening patients to the different departments as requested.  Performs data entry and balance cash payments at the end of the day.  Qualifications include H.S. diploma, and good customer service skills.  Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.  Ability to work in a fast pace environment and willingness to cross-train.  Some computer knowledge and typing skills.  Experience in a medical setting preferred.

*Security Guard (part-time)

Responsibilities include patrolling inside clinic, parking lot areas and outside the building.  Documents any visits by staff/visitors during and off working hours and reports any disruptions.  Forwards necessary reports to the local police department.  Shall address complaints and/or concerns promptly.  Qualifications include H.S. diploma or equivalent, Security Guard certificate preferred, one year experience as security preferred.  Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.  Ability to work flexible hours including night shifts.  Must be able to stand and walk for long period of time.

Housekeeping Attendant (part-time)

Responsibilities include general housekeeping duties such as mopping, buffing, polishing, scrubbing, and occasionally rearranging furniture. Minor plumbing and carpentry knowledge to perform a variety of duties for the maintenance of the clinic.  Experience in housekeeping/maintenance duties.  Ability to lift up to 50lbs. using safety procedures.  Ability to work with some supervision.  Flexible (evenings) working hours.  Bilingual a plus.
